Cody Chevrolet Night

Good morning all!

Race day write-up from last week, as we look to make a rebound from a not so great night. We started off our first practice with an entirely different setup in attempt to find something that could work a little differently through a 50 lap feature. We were just outside to top 10 for the first go around, and fell back towards the bottom of the charts for second practice, still maintaining race speed In doing so. We started our heat race outside pole, and hung as tough as we could, but just couldn't go forward. We dropped into the inside for 5th, where we hung the rest of the heat. We started the consi 3rd place, and fought hard to maintain our spot all 12 laps, finishing where we started.

Come feature time, we had another inside starting spot in 5th, and made our way into a battle for 2nd by lap 5. We fought hard door to door for 10 laps, and got pinched down tight coming into 1, nearly spinning but saving it, then made a slow drop backwards on hot tires all the way to 8th, where a different driver put us into the grass far enough the race stayed green. We waited to pull back onto the track, now a lap down, and rode out the duration of the race in the back, finishing 22nd. We had the car, but not the luck, and sometimes that's just the way it goes.

Tonight is NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Night, where the warriors have twin 25 features, and we run last on the card for the night. Post time is 7PM starting with their heats, followed by the tigers and late models, and lastly the street stocks.

We look forward to seeing you all there, and hope we can put on a show for you all!
