McGee Hyundai Super Thursday and Casella Waste Systems Night

On McGee Hyundai Night, we faced some challenges all day with a tight loose car throughout practice and into the heat. This struggle ultimately led to an unfortunate accident, resulting in us starting last among the qualified cars for the feature event. About 15 laps into the 50-lap race, we made a small adjustment under yellow to improve the handling for the rest of the feature. Despite the earlier setbacks, this change allowed us to recover and finish the race strong. We managed to salvage an 18th place finish out of 24 cars, which isn't ideal by any means, but we still loaded the car up in one piece for the 2nd race in a row!

On Casella Waste Systems Night, our performance showed significant improvement from the week before. We started and finished the feature in 2nd after settling in the bottom groove and riding out into a qualifying spot. We made an adjustment before the feature to help us out with the track cooling off, and rolled off the starting grid in 3rd position. We dropped back to 4th after nearly losing the car coming into turn 1 a handful of laps in, worked back up to 3rd position, and ultimately finished in 5th place by the end of the caution-less feature. Overall, it was a night of learning and improvement with the new car, but we kept it together in one piece yet again, and believe to have a decent base setup for the rest of the season.

This Thursday is Nolato Night, where the first leg of Tiger Sportsman Myers Triple Crown Series will take place. Post time for the night is 7pm as always, and we hope to see you there cheering us on and enjoying a wonderful night of action packed racing!
