Good morning all,
Here for our first post-race write up of the 2025 season, where we finally got to hit the track and shake the rust off, and soon had quite the eventful day...

Race Day Summary
We unloaded great and had a productive day in practice, maintaining mid-pack speed consistently throughout the session
Practice 1: Strong performance with consistent speeds.
Practice 2: Continued to run well, building confidence in the car.
Practice 3: Encountered an electrical gremlin (originally thought to have been a fuel issue), but identified and fixed it in time to run some laps in practice and have it ready for the heat race.
Heat Race
We started on the pole and quickly fought some ill handling, but held our ground and leveled out as the laps ran off and finished 4th, qualifying us directly into the feature race without needing the consolation race.
Feature Race
During the feature, we managed to complete 7 laps before the car began to spit and sputter again. It eventually lost all power, and we had to coast off the track and into the pits. After parking the car, we discovered the issue was related to the battery and alternator, which marks our first mechanical failure in our entire 10 years of racing (not caused by an accident).
Overall, it was good to get back out on a day on the track and have a day of learning and improvement with our new car, and we're looking forward to hitting the track in a couple weeks On Thursday June 5th for "Super Thursday presented by McGee Hyundai of Barre!"
