VT Tire and CCV Night

Good afternoon all!

What a crazy last few weeks we've had, completing 4 total features over the course of 10 days, and squeezing a community event between it all!

Though we managed a couple good runs, we also had a few not so great ones, this past Thursday and Sunday being one of them. Thursday nights action saw us getting caught in the wrong place in the wrong time in the heat, starting us out back, and not being able to make up much ground in 50 laps, we finished off 18/22 cars.

Fast forward to Sunday, we made some adjustments, ended up P3 in the final practice, and qualified through the heat after a car got disqualified for being too wide. We took the starting position inside the top 5, and had made our way into the top 3 by the time the first caution flew. Upon cooling the tires, the car got significantly looser than it was, and while trying to fight to stay in the top 5, contact from a car inside got us sent up the track. We managed to keep it out of the wall, but didn't get the chance to bunch the field back up since we kept it out of the way, and we settled for 16/20 cars by the time the checkered flag flew (but in one piece)!

This Thursday is one of the final Thursday night races of the season, where the Tiger Sportsman division will finish off their triple crown series with 100 laps of action.

Post time 7pm! We hope to see you there cheering our team on!
